X-HALE 2019 Short Film Competition

The X-HALE 2019 Short Film Competition is now open for registrations until the May 22nd entry deadline! The X-HALE Short Film Competition is an exciting opportunity for youth groups to spread the word about the impact of smoking by creating a youth-led short-film.

Every year, the Irish Cancer Society supports youth groups from all over Ireland in making a short film to encourage young people be smoke free. We are excited to offer all new opportunities for X-HALE 2019 including a Youth Advocate and Youth Worker Champion call, using participation Gaisce and much much more!   

The European Commission awarded X-HALE overall 1st place winner of EU Health Awards 2018 for its innovative social dimension and peer to peer aproach to working with young people at risk of tobacco use.

If you’re part of a youth organisation, project, club, services or centre working with young people aged 10-24, we want to hear from you!  Complete and submit your registration form before you start making your film, entry deadline May 22nd ...we will send you on a participation pack  if your group is eligible to take part.
