Running the NYC Marathon for the Irish Cancer Society was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it. The incredible support received from the Irish Cancer Society and the sponsors made the 26.2 mile challenge all the more worthwhile. If you've ever had a marathon on you're bucket list, then New York is definitely the one to do. The amazing scenic route running though all 5 boroughs and the enormous cheering crowds will get you from the start to the finish line. I would gladly do it all over again with Team Irish Cancer Society!
