The Irish Cancer Society is a proud partner of the All-Island Cancer Research Institute (AICRI), which aims to drive forward collaborative approaches to cancer research across the island of Ireland. In 2024, the Irish Cancer Society announced a new three-year partnership with AICRI, which sees the investment of €225,000 to fund the position of Irish Cancer Society AICRI Research Analyst. This role was awarded to Shashank Srinivas
In this role, the initial work of Shashank will include researching and producing a detailed report on the current landscape of cancer research across the island of Ireland. In addition, this report will include recommendations for how best we can develop synergies both north and south of the border.
By investing in the All-Island Cancer Research Institute (AICRI), the Irish Cancer Society aims to unite research communities and reduce fragmentation across the island of Ireland.
