Lockdown Challenge Shave or Dye
A group of 20 friends from Glasnevin, Finglas and Cabra have been staying connected while staying home by challenging each other to 'Shave or Dye' for the Irish Cancer Society, daring each other to adopt bizarre hairstyles and facial hair for the duration of the stay home restrictions. They've raised over €4,000 so far through their GoFundMe page.
"It's a way to have a bit of fun and keep in touch during lockdown," says one of the lads, James Slein. "We decided to do it for the Irish Cancer Society because of how coronavirus has affected its fundraising events."
If you're thinking of taking on a similar challenge, James's advice is to "Make sure the person picking the shave/dye/ beard style likes you so you don’t get shafted! We've had a few bad ones in our group! Fair play to the lads who did it."
