Cancer Survivorship Seed Funding Awards 2025
The Irish Cancer Society, with kind support from GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and AstraZeneca, wish to invite cancer survivorship researchers to apply for the Cancer Survivorship Seed Funding Awards 2025.
This award offers motivated researchers the opportunity to drive forward a research project which has the potential to be both highly competitive and impactful. The award is intended to support research activities that, without seed funding, would not have been possible otherwise.
Eligibility
This award is open to cancer researchers of all backgrounds. This includes academic and clinical researchers (post undergraduate level).
The 2025 Seed Funding Award is open to cancer survivorship research proposals. A key priority for the Irish Cancer Society is to ensure that all people affected by cancer in Ireland benefit from world class cancer research, and that disproportionate experiences of cancer care and outcomes are addressed. In line with this commitment, the 2025 award will provide funding to research which seeks to address unmet needs in cancer survivorship.
Further details can be found in the Application Guidelines document (below).
