Westlife star Shane Filan launches raffle in aid of Irish Cancer Society with the winner getting ‘the ultimate Westlife experience’ 

14th August 2026: National Irish Cancer Society Relay For Life ambassador and Westlife star Shane Filan has launched a raffle that promises the winner a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 

One lucky winner will be in with the chance of securing a VIP experience, consisting of two tickets to Westlife’s 25th anniversary show at Zenith Paris – La Villette on Sunday, 15th November 2026. 

The winner will also receive two return flights to Paris, and a two-night stay for two people on Sunday 15th November and Monday 16th November at the luxury Leonardo Boutique Paris Opera Hotel. 

The Leonardo Boutique Hotel Paris Opera is a stylish four-star boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Paris' 9th arrondissement. Located just moments from the iconic Opera Garnier, it offers the perfect setting to experience the charm and culture of the French capital. 

The winner will be chauffer driven to the venue, before a meet and greet and photo opportunity with Westlife. After their whirlwind experience, they will go home with a signed 25th Anniversary merchandise package.

All proceeds from the raffle will go the Irish Cancer Society, helping to fuel vital support services and ground-breaking cancer research.

“I know firsthand the devastating impact cancer can have on a family, as I lost my mum and dad, Mae and Peter, to the disease just nine months apart. I miss them every day, but I know they would be incredibly proud of my work today with Relay For Life.  

“It’s hard to believe, but 1 in 2 of us will receive a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime. While every three minutes, someone in Ireland is hearing the words, ‘You’ve got cancer’. The funds raised through this raffle will support the Irish Cancer Society’s work and will help to ensure no one has to face a cancer diagnosis alone. 

"We're delighted to be able to hold a raffle again this year after the enormous success of the raffle we held last year, where over €76,000 was raised for the Irish Cancer Society thanks to your generosity. Raffle Details 

• This raffle is organised by Shane Filan with all proceeds going to the Irish Cancer Society. 
• Tickets cost €10 and there is no limit to the number you can purchase.  
• Closing time and date for entry is Saturday 31st October 2026 at midnight. 
• Winner will be announced and contacted on Monday 02nd November 2026. 
• The winner will be selected at random from the entries. 
• Entrants must be 18 or older.
