Garden of Hope

Each year we plant thousands of daffodils inscribed with our supporters' personalised messages of hope, remembrance and aspiration.

Join us for the Garden of Hope Online Event

Each year we plant thousands of daffodils inscribed with our supporters' personalised messages of hope, remembrance and aspiration. Every daffodil planted is one more show of kindness as the country comes together to support people affected by cancer.

Taking part is really simple:

  1. Complete our Garden of Hope form - anyone can send their own short message of love, remembrance, or encouragement to honour a loved one, or a personal experience of cancer.
  2. These messages will be printed in the Irish Cancer Society HQ and attached to lovely cardboard daffodils.
  3. All of the daffodils, with special messages from people all across Ireland, will be “planted” in a beautiful ceremony on Daffodil Day, 25th March.
  4. Register as 'going' to the online event on Facebook - click the link to head to the event page on Facebook and select 'Going' to save the event to your page, and join us online at 1pm on the day.
  5. If you would like to, please also make a special Garden of Hope donation here.
