Lough Cutra Castle Triathlon

Lough Cutra Castle Triathlon, set in the stunning grounds of Lough Cutra Castle in Gort, Co Galway, is part of the UK based Castle Triathlon Series, one of the fastest growing triathlon brands in the UK and Europe.

Lough Cutra Castle Triathlon is the curtain raiser of the 2017 Castle Triathlon Series taking place on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th May. The event, providing a unique family friendly festival atmosphere will be the largest triathlon to take place in Ireland in 2017, over 2,500 participants are expected at the weekend of racing in Galway.

Innishannon Steam & Vintage Rally

The 20th Innishannon Steam & Vintage Rally will again be held at the 38 acre venue one mile from Innishannon Village.

It will continue Innishannon's association with the steam and vintage rally, which has built up over the last 48 years (Upton Steam rally ran from 1969 to 1996).

The Steam & Vintage Rally has two objectives:

Moylagh JFK 50 Mile Challenge

The Moylagh JFK 50 Mile Challenge will take on cancer once again on 10 June 2017 with participants setting off at 6 am from the Community Centre in the village. The route covers a spectacular route across Meath, Cavan and Westmeath.

Whether you walk 5 miles or the full 50 miles, young or old, fit or unfit everyone can feel the sense of achievement and support.

Relay For Life Carlow

Relay For Life events raise vital funds to support the work of the Irish Cancer Society. At the heart of each Relay For Life event, teams of friends, neighbours, families and colleagues come together in groups and commit to keeping participants walking around a track or path for 24 hours.

Fun and exciting activities take place throughout the 24 hours to create a wonderfully festive atmosphere.
