The impact of your generosity

Following a cancer diagnosis, patients and family often have many questions, they could be scared, confused or worried about a loved one. Our nurses are there to answer these questions and provide advice, support and reassurance.

Support our cancer researchers

  • We are constantly looking for better diagnostics and treatments for cancer patients in Ireland,  so that people diagnosed with cancer will have access to the best science available.

Help fund the Irish Cancer Society Volunteer Driver Service

  • This is our free volunteer transport service, so that travelling to and from the hospital is one less thing that cancer patients need to think about.

Help fund our Daffodil Centre cancer nurses

  • Our Daffodil Centre nurses provide cancer information, support and advice. We have 13 Daffodil Centres in hospitals across Ireland. Here, anyone affected or concerned about cancer can seek support and advice from our nurse and trained volunteers.

Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses

  • Our nurses ensure that families of patients receive practical support and reassurance and that their loved ones remain in the comfort and dignity of their own home.

Cancer affects 1 in 3, but there are lots of ways you can fight back. Here’s how you can make a difference this Christmas and reduce your risk of cancer.
