Shannon is an Irish Cancer Society volunteer who helps bring Daffodil Day to Waterford City each year. She has Daffodil Day in her blood, with her grandmother organising the first-ever Daffodil Day event in Waterford, and her father Des now serving as chair of the Waterford volunteer committee.
Des is chair of the Waterford Daffodil Day committee. Each year he volunteers his time to bring Daffodil Day to his city and raise funds to support the Irish Cancer Society.
