Daffodil Centre St. Vincent's University Hospital

Our Daffodil Centre in St. Vincent's University Hospital provides cancer information, support and advice, drop-in at any time during opening hours – you don’t need an appointment or a referral.

The Daffodil Centre is a supportive cancer information service provided by the Irish Cancer Society in St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

The centre is staffed by trained Cancer Nurses and volunteers who provide free practical information about all types of cancer and support to anyone affected by or concerned about cancer.

The centre is open to the public and if you have a question or concern about cancer you are welcome to call in at any time during opening hours. An appointment or referral is not necessary. Everyone is welcome – patients, their relatives and anyone with worries about cancer. We can also help if you want to learn about how to reduce the risks of developing cancer. The Cancer Nurses will take the time to listen to you and provide you with information, advice and support that is tailored for you. All Daffodil Centre conversations are held in confidence.

If you are a healthcare professional, we can advise you about the information and support that is available to you and your patients or clients.

If you are unable to visit the centre the Cancer Nurses will accept phone calls and e-mails.
