Cancer Week 2018

Cancer Week Ireland 2018 will take place this year from Monday, September 24 to Sunday, September 30.

Cancer rates are rising but so too are survival rates. This year an estimated 40,000 people across the country will be diagnosed with cancer. At the same time there are more than 165,000 people living with and beyond cancer.

Cancer has touched every family in every community in Ireland. Cancer Week Ireland is about opening up a national conversation about cancer and for communities and organisations, large and small, to be part of that conversation this September.

We’re hoping that this year’s Cancer Week will be bigger and better than ever! But to do that we need your help.

We would love you to consider holding an event for this year’s Cancer Week. Soon we will update our website – CancerWeek.ie – for 2018, but for now you can learn about past events and maybe get inspired to hold your own this year.

If you have any comments or queries, please feel free to contact the Cancer Week Ireland team via info@cancerweek.ie.

Cancer Week Ireland is an initiative of the Irish Cancer Society and Trinity College Dublin.
