Volunteer to Fundraise

Volunteers on Daffodil Day

Why fundraise for the Irish Cancer Society?

Fundraisers raise an incredible 97% of the Irish Cancer Society’s yearly income.

This money funds our vital supports and services as well as our research programmes and advocacy all with the common goal of improving the lives of those affected by cancer in Ireland.

There are many ways how you can get involved as a fundraiser, either by raising money for one of our national campaigns or organising your own event. The fundraising team is available to give you tips how to organise and promote a successful event or visit our fundraising page here for some inspiration!

Fundraise

What’s involved in volunteering to fundraise?

With so many opportunities it really depends on you how you get involved as a fundraiser. You may organise your own coffee morning, a bake off or sponsored walk, or you may start raising funds online or host an online event. Some may prefer to sign up as a fundraiser for bigger events coordinated by the Irish Cancer Society, such as Daffodil Day. We will support you with any idea you have and can provide you with materials to promote your event.

What are the requirements to fundraise?

There are no requirements as every fundraiser and fundraising event is different! Find a way that suits you!
