Concerns about my tongue
Hi guys, please can I get I feedback about wheter I have a small or a big problem,
concerned about some odd changes in the top left side of my tongue, lumps and indentations

Also meant to say- small bumps can be saliva glands. They can be fairly big near the back of the tongue - Circumvallate papilla is the name- you can google to see pics
The thing that worries me is right at the back left lateral side it just looks a mess, I can feel a lump in my tongue and the papillary are swollen and it almost looks like an indentation into my tongue there also. No real pain from it though it looks like it should be sore

Maybe you should go to your dentist to put your mind at ease.

It looks pretty healthy to me. Coming from a dental background I don’t see anything to be concerned about but contact your dentist if it’s bothering you.
You could be grinding or clenching which can make indentations on the tongue.
If you rub your tongue up and down your cheek can you feel small horizontal ridges? Another indicator of grinding! Esp common during stressful times of life.
