Pressure in Left boob

Last reply: 25 August 2015 15:02

Just looking for some advice please. I was diagnosed with DCIS in my right breast last May. I had two surgeries some lymph nodes removed which were clear thank goodness. Followed by radiotherapy. My most recent mammogram was in March. I also had a check up by my surgeon in July. But I am now experiencing pressure, not pain in the same area where the DCIS was but on the other breast. I am wondering if my mind is working overtime and if I am worrying for nothing. I didn't notice any pressure or soreness before finding the lump on the right side.

I should probably clarify that it was May 2014 when I was diagnosed with DCIS. Thanks again.

Dear Lizton
I am sorry to read that you are experiencing discomfort in your other breast.Breast pain is a very common type of discomfort among women. However it is very understandable that having had DCIS you are anxious about this.We would advise you to discuss this with your GP,who hopefully will be able to reassure you.If you would like to phone our Nurseline to discuss this further, there is a nurse here Mon-Thurs 9-6 and on Friday 9-5 at 1800 200 700.
Kind regards
