Health Inequalities in Cancer in Ireland (Closed)
This call is now closed.
The Irish Cancer Society has identified health inequalities in cancer in Ireland as an area of high priority for research.
It is known that socioeconomic and educational factors are important determinants of the use of diagnostic facilities and of quality of care. Additionally, there may be other important determinants of healthcare inequalities relating to cancer in Ireland.
The purpose of this grant call is to generate an interest in this area of research, and to seed-fund focused research projects that will inform the Society of inequalities that exist in cancer care in Ireland.
