We Can Quit Action Research Project

The Irish Cancer Society developed an Action Research Project to find out why women smoke, to explore the barriers for women to quit and what would support them to quit for good.

The report demonstrates a new model in smoking cessation and presents the results and key findings of the first programme in two communities in Dublin.

The Minister for Health, Leo Varadkar TD launched the report on the findings of the ‘We Can Quit’ pilot project in May 2015
