Hi

I hope you are recovering well after your surgery. Generally it is considered ok to drive 2-3 weeks after this surgery as it is hoped by this time you could make an emergency stop if necessary without experiencing discomfort in the wound. However you will need to ask your nurse or doctor as they will know the details of your surgery. You will then need to contact your car insurance company to check your policy.

Feel free to phone us on our cancer nurseline Mon-Friday 9-5pm at 1800 200 700 if we can help in any other way

Kind regards,

Cancer nurse
