Solas Cancer Support Centre
We provide free cancer support services to the people of Waterford and the South East of Ireland.
The charity provides free support services to those impacted by a cancer diagnosis, their families and carers in Waterford City, County and surrounding areas.
A wide range of free services are available including reflexology, massage, reiki, acupuncture, counselling, along with play therapy and art therapy for children and adolescents.
The service also offers weekly classes in meditation and yoga along with a range of Support groups that include a men’s support group, art group, walking group, choir and crochet group.
On a monthly basis we offer Information and education sessions on a wide range of topics including nutrition, bereavement support, difficult conversations with children around cancer, exercise and many more topics relevant to our clients.
We work in partnership with other aligned organisations in offering survivorship programmes such as Cancer Thriving and Surviving, Strides for Life, ExWell and Look Good Feel Better.
