Assistance with transport to hospital for check-ups and treatments, home and hospital visiting when requested, and social outings.
The Centre provides emotional support to people affected by cancer including those who care for them, from the time of diagnosis, throughout treatment and afterwards. If required there is play therapy available for children affected by a cancer diagnosis.
These gentle and caring supports takes place in a confidential, professional and non-judgmental environment.
Counselling, transport to hospital by taxi or volunteer driver, exercise for cancer with a registered physiotherapist, acupuncture, reflexology, amatsu, mld, art classes, chair yoga, mindfulness, deep relaxation/hypnotherapy, yoga, creative writing class, garden club.
