Integrate Performing Arts Group are taking on dare to care this year along with Cumas Day Service. Integrate is a new community based inclusive performing arts group for people with and without disabilities. Cumas is a day service for adults with intellectual disabilities. We hope to get the whole community involved with us here on the day including local schools, businesses, community organisations, friends, family and members of the community for Dancer for Cancer. Integrate will lead the dancing on the day.
We have chosen to take on dare to care because as you may know people with disabilities are often recipients of funds from charitable organisations for which we are very thankful as we could not deliver the services we do without them, however, sometimes it is forgotten that people with disabilities often fundraise for other organisations and give back to their communities in many ways. We have chosen the Irish Cancer Society as it is such a worthy cause and we hope to raise as much money as we can on the day.

Together with the backing of all Zumba® Instructors across Ireland I was only delighted to start up a donation page for this worthy cause. It is close to many of our hearts and when we heard that it involves dance this year we were elated as ...”that IS our thing”.
We have held & hosted many, many Zumba® charity events across Ireland over the last 10 years and it is a super way to raise funds while still having a great time.
I, along with so many eager instructors across Ireland are more than ready, willing & able to help out in any way we can on the 30th.
Karla in Co Meath
I run Gymboree play and music classes in the Meath area. The classes are for children ages 6 months - 5 years, along with their parents.
On April 30th I am hosting a free family music class at my premises. My customers will be treated to the usual fun class, including instrument exploration, parachute and bubble-time, finishing up with my choice of song for the day which is Baby Shark. I am so not a fan of this song but all my little customers love it. I usually refuse to play it because I consider myself a music educator and this song is an insult to music. But for one class only, and for a great cause, I will not only play the song, I will dance along with my little friends too.
My reason for getting involved is to help the Irish Cancer Society, in some small way, continue the amazing work that they do.
