In our latest Decoding Cancer public talk, Head of Research Robert O'Connor will discuss some of the most common myths and misinformation surrounding cancer.
This event is taking place as part of Cork Science Festival, a celebration of science events taking place this November. Cork Science Festival is main partner of Science Week, 12-19 November 2017, supported by Science Foundation Ireland.
Decoding Cancer is a series of public talks about cancer and cancer research. This talks hope to dispel some of the myths around cancer, and explore the many advances being made in prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivorship. It will hear from leading experts in the cancer field about a diverse range of topics and issues, from diet and exercise to cancer clinical trials. It will engage current thinkers and leaders in the cancer field and explore and examine the latest advances in cancer research.
