Breast Cancer Research Celebration - Family Fun Day!
Join us for a unique, family-friendly day out, see the impact of your support and be inspired!
One of the Irish Cancer Society’s greatest achievements over the past five years has been Breast-Predict, the country’s first collaborative cancer research centre.
Through the public’s generous donations, we’ve been able to invest €7.5 million into this centre, which funds the work of 50 breast cancer researchers across the country.
They’ve had some great successes in advancing our knowledge of breast cancer, helping to piece together this complex range of diseases so that one day we may find a cure.
Through your support – whether you've organised a coffee morning, run a marathon, or given us your change for Daffodil Day – you’ve helped make those successes happen. That’s why we want to celebrate these successes, and share those research stories, with you.
Please join us, and bring your families, to our free breast cancer research celebratory event taking place from 1 to 5 pm on Sunday, 9 September at the Bandstand in St Stephens Green, Dublin 2.
We’ll have fun and games for all ages, information on breast cancer research, and free barista coffee to mark the launch of our Cups Against Breast Cancer campaign!
So feel free to pop in at any stage for 10 minutes, an hour – however long you like, and show your support for great cancer research happening right here in Ireland.
