Stimulus Award 2018
Call for applications
The purpose of the Irish Cancer Society Stimulus Award is to provide professionals conducting cancer research with an opportunity to drive forward an existing research project which, if given an extra injection of funding, has the potential to be both highly competitive and impactful. Ultimately it is expected that this award will act as a launch pad for the applicant and expedite their career development within the Irish cancer research community
There are two Stimulus Award calls:
Applicants can only apply for one Stimulus Award. Applicants that submit applications to both awards will be rejected. If you are unsure of which award category is applicable to your project, please contact email@example.com and we can advise.
Applicants that apply using the incorrect application procedure for their specific field of research will be rejected.
The research must take place at an Institution in the Republic of Ireland.
The maximum funding granted for both the Biomedical Science Stimulus Award and the Social and Allied Health Sciences Stimulus Award Stimulus Award is €30,000 over 12 months.
