Mental wellbeing with Dr Sonya Collier

The Irish Cancer Society's Director of Research Dr Robert O'Connor spoke to Principal Clinical Psychologist Dr Sonya Collier (St. James's Hospital, Dublin) about the psychological impact of the coronavirus pandemic, specifically in relation to people affected by cancer.

We know people are trying to cope with massive challenges at the moment, so we asked psycho-oncologist Dr Sonya Collier for her views on how to manage some of the problems patients have been telling us about.

Dr Collier provides helpful, practical advice about a number of issues that might be impacting mental wellbeing at this time, including anxiety; sleeplessness; isolation and loneliness.
