Location:  Based in Dublin with opportunities for part-time remote working*

* Note:  There will be a mix of office and remote based working for this role over the coming months as we return to more regular working arrangements following temporary arrangements that were in place due to Covid-19

We’re looking for an Integration Developer to join our team.  As Integration Developer you will be responsible for support and develop solutions to address business and service needs across the organisation.

What you’ll do

You will be primarily responsible for maintaining existing solutions and developing new solutions, particularly in web, database and integration services.  You will also be responsible for providing support in the day to day management of 3rd party digital service providers, ensuring the services are operating appropriately and that any integration points with 3rd parties are operating correctly.

Key duties and responsibilities

Data Integration and Management

  • Develop and maintain integration solutions between 3rd party service providers, in-house systems and the Dynamics CRM solution.
  • Responsibility for data, driving consistency and best practice in relation to data initiatives; leveraging data for use in strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Participate as a team member on all projects that have development / integration aspects as required.
  • Ensure that appropriate test and development environments are maintained.
  • Write scripts for ad hoc data import\export\manipulation

Solution Delivery and Stakeholder management

  • Work closely with the Solution Delivery Manager to decide the needs of projects and changes and plan work.
  • Be service-user and client-focused, and understand the Irish Cancer Society’s fundamental role, purpose, structure and strategic goals.
  • Contribute as part of a high-functioning team, with concurrent projects and competing priorities
  • Act as the key contact point and subject matter expert for key 3rd party service providers, in particular on the data they hold and methods for integrating into our systems.
  • Advise on the technical specification relating to the development or procurement of new information systems or ICT infrastructure as appropriate.

Who you are

The successful candidate will have:

  • Good interpersonal skills, able to establish positive relationships with staff and external suppliers.
  • Experience of working as part of a team with a mixed programme of work and moving with ease between concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering solutions from inception to completion with flexibility and willingness to adapt, positively contributing to the implementation of change.

Your qualifications and experience

  • Extensive experience with procedural T-SQL, creating, maintaining and optimising stored procedures, triggers, views and user-defined functions required.  The Irish Cancer Society measures experience by the quality of the experience gained, rather than number of years worked.
  • Experience of MS Dynamics CRM and integration tools and technologies such as SSIS, KingswaySoft, North52 BPA plus portal technologies such as SiteFinity and Pavliks Portal Connector required.
  • Previous Database experience, Data Manipulation technologies and Software Development experience required
  • Experience extracting and integrating data from 3rd party sources such as Stripe, AWS S3 cloud objects & Drupal sites an advantage.
  • Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), including creating and maintaining ETL processes & datamarts an advantage.
  • Experience developing reports, visuals and dashboards in a variety of toolsets, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) & PowerBI or similar tools an advantage.
  • Experience of working in a not-for-profit environment an advantage.
