Irish Cancer Society - 50th Anniversary Celebration & Strategy Statement 2013-2017 Launch
The Irish Cancer Society's Strategy Statement 2013-2017, "Towards a Future without Cancer", was launched during a special 50th anniversary celebration event at the Royal Hibernian Academy on Monday, January 21, 2013.
Speaking on the evening were James Reilly TD, Minister for Health, Dr John Seffrin, CEO of the American Cancer Society, Ms Áine Lawlor, RTE Broadcaster and Cancer Survivor and Prof John Kennedy, Chairman of the Irish Cancer Society, while those in attendance included the three surviving founding members, Prof Austin Darragh, Lady Antonia Beckwith and Eric N. Webb, and family of other founding members
