| Hodgkin's United Group
The Hodgkin’s United Group, is a support group set up to help
patients with Hodgkin’s or non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma by providing
up-to-date information, practical advice and emotional support at the
time of most need.
Volunteers are all men and women who have had Hodgkin’s or non-Hodgkin’s
lymphoma. This service is provided on a one-to-one basis and is confidential.
Specifically HUG’s aims are to:
- Help patients come to terms with their diagnosis of lymphoma.
- Discuss the feelings and anxieties that may be experienced by patients
who are told they have to have surgery or receive chemotherapy
/ radiotherapy.
- Provide reassurance to patients following their treatment.
HUG hold a phone-in day, on the 4th Wednesday of every month between
11am-4pm. Volunteers are available to speak with you and provide support
and information.
