Pink Ribbon Walks

The Pink Ribbon Walk empowers individuals and communities to raise breast cancer awareness, promote healthy living and fundraise for Action Breast Cancer (an Irish Cancer Society programme) through a fun and rewarding experience.

About the walks

Pink Ribbon Walks are a chance for communities to have a fun day out and show their support for people affected by breast cancer. In 2011, Pink Ribbon Walks were held in Killaloe, Co. Clare and Kells, Co. Meath.

With one in every nine women in Ireland developing breast cancer, support for breast cancer programmes has never been more important.

Pink Ribbon Walks support Action Breast Cancer, which offers information, advice, and appropriate referral for women who are concerned about breast health or women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer, their families and carers and healthcare professionals.

We're delighted to announce the following Pink Ribbon Walks in 2012:

  • Kells, Co Meath: September
