Hope you are all doing okay.
I have been okay but in those very dark places and have been reading your old posts to keep my spirits somewhat up.Those posts are terrific.
Have been trying to check out holiday insurance and know I gave a very silly answer to one of the girls last year when she asked a similiar question. Have copped on thatthis is regarded as terminal as I was blissfully considering it chronic!
Cried for about two hours over that yesterday.
Had an appointment with a counsellor yesterday and stupidly asked her if I would live to see my child's confirmation[2 years time].Of course she can't know but you know how you desperately cling to something.
Mad I know.
So cried for another hour over that and then wore sunglasses to hide red eyes while doing the school run!
Burned the dinner and let my daughter on you tube for the night[Should have been engaged in educational activities!]
So there is my selfish rant. all ME Me Me but sincerely hope you are all doing well post 1916 celebrations!

Sorry I took so long to reply but there seemed to be no activity on mess age boards so gave up checking!
so glad to hear that you are heading away on hols. I completely over insured myself with a company in England called All Clear and there was absolutely no need. I panicked as had scans coming up and was afraid we would have to cancel.
How are you feeling? I remember the last time you were on line you were anxious about treatment options so I hope everything worked out o.k..
Did you hear the two ladies on Ray Darcy[Radio Show]
last week speaking about MBC. They were excellent.
It was just great to hear from you.

I am my usual anxious self. Still on monthly shots of Faslodex but apart from fatigue I am fine.

Just back from holiday in US covered by VHI,! Didn't think of cancer once. Back to reality now, chemo Friday and scan before Christmas.
Hope you are going ok a day your spirits are up. It's very difficult.

I really hope your scan goes well.
I had one two weeks ago[nearly had a nervous breakdown waiting for results ]and oncologist told me things stable.
Still on monthly Faslodex shots. Have calmed a little as I just couldn't keep going with such anxiety all the time. It is tough going.

Hi Avril. Not sure when you were on this last. ...find it difficult to work out! Hope you got your insurance sorted. I'm in same boat for trip to USA in October. Believe vhi will cover me. How have you been?
